Job Description:

Our client in North Houston is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be responsible for negotiating contracts in conjunction with field Sales, ensuring market valued pricing and acceptable terms of sale and maintaining proper communications with customers, to define which product or group of products best addresses the customer?s operational requirements. This Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the processing of orders in a timely and accurate manner including but not limited to: determining appropriate part number which defines the required product, establishing new bill-to and ship-to addresses and credit negotiations with Accounting. Should have the ability to establish or negotiate delivery dates of customer requirements with the help of Production Planner and/or Manufacturing. Conduct order expediting as needed, setting shipping terms and methods, commission allocations, assigning tax codes, etc. Must be able to establish selling prices for products in accordance with guidelines and maintains historical files on price development.
