Apply today!About the roleReworld is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Technician to join our team. The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including sample preparation, lab housekeeping, supplies, and reporting of results. Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Procurement of needed supplies to keep the laboratories support proper and operational at all times.
    • Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal.
      • Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards.
        • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday.
          • Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
            • Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing.
              • Background with basic instrumentation operation and troubleshooting.
                • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
                  • Relevant laboratory experience preferred.
                    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
                      • Knowledge of the waste industry and prior experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
                        • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
                          • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
                            • Must be able to pass physical, employment verification, and drug screen
                              • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software.Physical Requirements:
                                • Be able to climb stairs
                                  • Be able to stand and work on your feet for the majority of your shift (less breaks)
