Hazmat Endorsement. Over the Road Routes

• We run flatbeds with conestogas/curtainside trailers.
  
• Pre & Post Trip - Inspecting vehicles to ensure they are properly equipped with warning lights, flags, and labels indicating hazardous materials are being carried
  
• Following all laws regarding traffic rules, speed limits, and safe driving practices when transporting hazardous materials
  
• Reporting any unsafe conditions of the transportation vehicle to the appropriate supervisor
  
• Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed in accordance with federal regulations
  
• Following standard operating procedures for loading and unloading hazardous materials safely and efficiently
  
• Ensuring that all safety equipment is functioning properly before transporting hazardous materials
  
• Maintaining detailed records of all shipments of hazardous materials
  
• Reporting any incidents involving hazardous materials to supervisors or authorities as required by law
  
• Ensuring that the vehicle is in good working order before each trip by performing inspections on the engine, tires, lights, brakes, etc.
  
• HOS and all HM Regulations adhered to at all times
  
• Additional responsibilities from time to time as typical with flatbed freight (i.e. tarping, loading assistance, re-verifying securement during transit, etc)
  Job Requirements:
  
  • Class A CDL
    
  • Hazmat Endorsement
    
  • Minimum 2 years experience
    
  • Minimum 25 years old
