Location: LA-Lake CharlesDepartment: Lake Charles Memorial HospitalWorker Category: Full timeStaff Pharmacist - Full TimeLake Charles Memorial HospitalLake Charles, LAAs full time, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist with CPS Solutions, LLC at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.Schedule: This is a full time position working 32 to 40 hours a week. Shifts vary from 8, 10 or 12 hour day and evening shifts, rotating weekends and holidays..Starting Pay: $60.00 to $68.000 per hour, based on experienceAbout the Facility: Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is the only locally-owned, regional community healthcare system in Lake Charles. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy utilizes Medselect and Paragon. Pharmacy is open 24 hours, 7 day a week.Required Qualifications:Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferredCurrent LA Pharmacist license in good standingExperience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferredAbility to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concernsDemonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work settingExperience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systemsEffective communications skills; verbal and writtenBenefits: All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
