About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Snowflake Architect to join our team. As a Snowflake Architect, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing data architecture solutions, focusing on Snowflake and AWS platforms. You will play a key role in driving the development of scalable and efficient data solutions that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Snowflake, SQL, AWS, and Python, with a strong focus on both hands-on coding and architecture design.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Snowflake-based data architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.


Lead the creation of efficient data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, and Python.


Architect and optimize data models for Snowflake, ensuring best practices and performance tuning.


Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently.


Work with AWS services to integrate and optimize data solutions.


Hands-on development, with an emphasis on 70% SQL and 30% Python for creating, debugging, and optimizing solutions.


Provide expertise in best practices for Snowflake architecture, data governance, and security.


Mentor and guide junior team members on coding and architecture decisions.


Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality, timely data solutions.



Requirements:

15+ years of technical experience in data engineering or architecture roles.


Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.


Recent 5 years of experience with AWS, Python, and Snowflake.


Proficient in SQL with a strong background in writing complex queries and optimizing performance.


Experience in both hands-on coding (50%) and architecture design (50%).


Ability to balance coding with high-level architecture planning and execution.


Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.


Proven experience in delivering scalable, high-performance data architectures.



Nice to Have:

Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for managing data transformations and workflows.
