As aSupervisor Environment Protection Program,you will be responsible for the performance and oversight of the assigned teams within the Environment Protection group which could include IMS, Policy, Biology, Data Systems, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure and Reporting.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of professionals by setting goals/objectives, coaching & mentoring, follow-up on progress, providing input, removing obstacles and evaluating outcomes.
  • The implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Protection Program for a Business Units supported.
  • The monitoring of emerging environmental regulations including providing comments on improvements to draft regulation, determining potential impact to the company, developing actions needed for compliance and communicating to affected internal parties.
  • Conduct Management Review and complete required quarterly or annual reports.
  • The development and maintenance of environmental data systems including the automation of manual activities and enhancements that improve data availability, access and processing.
  • Knowledge Center that supports the Business Units on matters related to wildlife, vegetation, habitat and invasive species.


    Who You Are:
    • Degree in environmental, physical, or biological sciences or related Environment and Health and Safety field or Emergency Response.
    • Minimum of seven years of environmental experience.
    • Ability to comprehend diverse environment technical subject matter.
    • Effective interpersonal skills that include the ability to communicate to a wide variety of people, including employees, all levels of management, regulatory agencies, and the public.
    • Ability to organize and write clear documents and correspondence to various audiences.


      Working Conditions:
      • Office environment with regular travel 15%.

        Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

        Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

        Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

        Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
