Job Description:

The Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Park Ten seeks a Full Time PreOp/PACU RN. We need a top-performer with solid knowledge of Pre-operative and PACU/Recovery Nursing, in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality outcomes.The RN PreOp/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. This role supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

• Required Skills:
• Current Texas Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting
• Problem recognition, evaluation, and solution skills
• Effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, and the public
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Accountability, professionalism, and adaptability
• Strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and patient management
• Aseptic technique knowledge and implementation
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Excellent teaching skills
• Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
  • Required Experience:
  • Experience working in an ASC is a plus
