Job Summary:

UT Health Science Center is seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

--- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
--- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
--- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and procedures
--- Make medical recommendations and referrals as needed
--- Provide education to patients and families on medical processes, medication, and health promotion

Requirements:

--- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse
--- Current Texas licensure as an APRN-NP, and specialty certification as required by department
--- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
--- Master's degree in Nursing as NP or Master's degree in Nursing with completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program
