USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking
a highly skilled Operating Room Manager to oversee the coordination
and supervision of nursing care provided to patients undergoing
operative or invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will possess
strong leadership abilities, effective communication and
collaboration skills, and the ability to manage change within the
healthcare organization.Responsibilities include:
- Clinical resource for perioperative services staff members,
utilizing evidence-based knowledge and prevailing standards.
- Evaluating current practice through quality and performance
improvement measures.
- Demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills
with members of the perioperative team and other stakeholders.
- Coordinating, facilitating, and managing change within the
healthcare organization.
- Serving as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning
perioperative patient care.
- Using effective conflict resolution techniques.
- Operationally and fiscally managing the perioperative services
department.
- Collecting and analyzing data that applies to perioperative
services to facilitate collaboration and negotiation with
stakeholders.
- Participating in interviews for staff selection.
- Assisting in evaluating staff member performance.
- Serving as a role model of professional behavior.This is a
demanding role that requires a high level of expertise, leadership,
and communication skills. The successful candidate will have the
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make
sound decisions in a dynamic setting.The ideal candidate will
possess a graduate degree in nursing, current licensure in the
state, and advanced life support certification.USPI complies with
