You will be responsible for mentoring and leading the accounting team to meet and exceed business objectives. You will oversee the day- to -day operations of the department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and ensure the team excels and performs at a high level. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, a proactive approach to managing financial data and processes, and a strong desire to lead a team.

Key Responsibilities
--- Lead and mentor accounting team, providing guidance and professional development.
--- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
--- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
--- Continuously assess accounting processes and systems, recommend, and implement improvements for greater efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
--- Lead and support all accounting department responsibilities for effective cross training opportunities.

Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
--- Previous experience in an accounting role for a small- medium size business.
--- Meaningful experience (2-7 years) and well versed in A/R, A/P, and Collections.
--- Epicor Prophet 21(CRM) experience helpful.
--- Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
--- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
--- Strong communication and leadership skills.
--- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
