The Director will report to the Ethos Veterinary Health (Ethos)
Specialty+ER Divisional Group Leader along with partnering with the
local leadership team.
Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) was founded in 1988 and is
currently one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the country.
Today, GCVS is an internationally respected veterinary specialty
and emergency hospital that continues to grow and set new
standards. Our mission is simple: We provide specialized care, in
partnership with the veterinary community, to help families with
pets. We use our extensive experience and expertise in all major
veterinary specialties to provide the highest quality, most
comprehensive specialized care for companion animals, while working
to advance veterinary technology through education and
innovation.
The Hospital Director has overall accountability for the
operational and financial management of the hospital. The Hospital
Director performs a wide range of difficult to complex
administrative activities related to the hospital in providing
quality patient care and excellent client service, management of
finances and accounting, marketing, and promotion of services,
staffing and human resources, and discretionary activities, that
serve to support the hospital.
Essential job functions:
Review accounts receivable to confirm proper and timely
processing.
Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing office equipment such as
facsimile machines, copiers, and computer keyboards.
